The original Red Army or Workers’ Peasants’ Red Army was the armed forces organized in 1918 by the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War. The Red Army was arguably the largest army in history until the fall of the Soviet Union. The term “Red” officially stood for the blood of the working class in its struggle against capitalism and for the belief that all are equal.

Red Arme (red är'mē) was born in 2009 with the Manifesto, “A Fearless Heart… A Willing Combatant!” This credo embodies the spirit of a true warrior. A Red Arme Combatant does not seek out violence or conflict, but will go to any means to defend a commitment to a life of truth, honor and respect. This is very similar to what MMA fighters believe when they enter the cage or ring.

The Red Arme brand was created to celebrate mixed martial arts not only as a sport, but also a culture. Red Arme is a MMA lifestyle brand that speaks to fighters and those who dream of becoming one. A Red Arme shirt represents membership within the fraternal organization of Red Arme Soldiers.
